@Cotojo1253, I just want to let you know I did everything you said. Some things were different on my Vista than what you had on yours but it worked! My computer is running faster and I did test search on my browser a few times and have not seen an occurrence so far! Thanks for the help!

I'm running Windows XP and only use Firefox as a browser. Thanks so much for the help as I had used Super Antispyware, Spybot, AVG Antivirus, AVG AntiRootkit, Lavasoft Ad-Aware, Malwarebytes AntiMalware, CCleaner, CWShredder and still no luck. TDSS found the culprit straight away but I still can't seem to reset the "keyword.url" as the word is not highlighted. Any tips on this?
I'll see how I go over the next few days to see if any random redirects or pop-up sites occur.
Cheers.
It won't allow me to reset the keyword.URL.

@Wolliom - Download TDSSKiller, RKill and malwarebytes. Run RKill first, then TDSSKiller, reboot if any found then update and Quick Scan with malwarebytes :-)

Does Norton 360 remove this thing?
ice500 2 years ago
@ ice500 - Malwarebytes Antimalware free version will remove it far better than Norton. Download, install, update, perform Quick Scan, remove all infections found and reboot :-)

@ice500 - You're welcome. Different programs work in different ways and frequently the simple and free ones work better :-)
