Paul Danos, Dean of the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, explains that China is about 25 years behind US business education. In China, business schools are more focused on executive education for people who are currently running companies whereas in the US, they are more focused on preparing leaders for an entire career. Danos says that it is unlikely that business schools in Europe or the US will open campuses in China anytime soon, because to do so, a school must first be commissioned by the Chinese government.
