The kids had fun with the new Entertainment Weekly with the video ad for CBS. I wasn't paying much attention to the commercials/ads, but I think they accidentally pushed some combination of buttons and maybe found an Easter Egg of sorts - some kind of promo for a book it looks like. Or maybe it's a CBS pilot that's not mentioned on the ads? Not sure. It didn't seem to bother the kids, though. They just got a kick out of seeing a little TV in the magazine.
UPDATE: I see from the stats that the video got picked up in this Huffington Post story that explains how that book promo got into the magazine: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dan-mirvish/neo-con-hacks-into-ienter_b_289220.... and then it showed up in Romania of all places, here:

which in turn says it got it from the BBC! Wow, the kids made it on the BBC.
this is comedy gold. gold!

Just saw that an associate of Martin Eisenstadt admitted on twitter that he hacked into 35 000 copies of Ent. Weekly to put in this easter Egg. Eisenstadt himself issued an apology (it's his book promo that's on there - I've seen the full thing on YT)- but he mostly felt bad that anyone found out about it.

Yup, I got it 2. Lks like advert 4 book by some guy named Isenschdat or sumthing. funny to see Sarah Palin in CBS promo. wonder how he got it on the video and if CBS knew 'bout it.

I stumbled into that same video, too, with my copy of EW. Not sure if it's supposed to be there, or not. I think that chip in there holds more than just the 20 minutes of content from CBS/Pepsi, so it's footage from a another promo the company is doing for something else. Or like you said, maybe some kind of cool stealth thing for a new CBS show.
