@SPS148669 yea. although i have heard of groups getting permission from the actual railroad and travelling across part of it. that was out east though, and i highly doubt CN, CP, or UP (the three major ones in my area) would let you even if you asked nicely.

The remaining railroads in my area are active so Rail Biking is most likey illegel and get a fine if caught or even worse pretty run over.
