As a German, I reckon Günter Netzer to argueably be the best German footballer, ever. He never acheived the stardom of guys like Beckenbauer, but that was due to his straight in you face attitude. German authorities could never cope with people speaking their mind.

I agree..
Funny how a nation can call a game played with the hands, football..But, there is more wrong in that country and calling that game football, is the most innocent one..
