Lensse Pre-Setup (Part 1)
------------------------------------
This is my personal setup I found that worked best for me and use these setting for reference.
I have a 1cm space between the back of the Lensse to the inner top weight stop.
Or 2 inches from inner gimbal mount to inner ball joint,
Or 3 inches from inner gimbal mount to outer ball joint
This is just a reference point that works with the various cameras I use like the GoPro or HD Camcorder.
Make sure that the flat top part of the ball joint is level and parallel to the Lensse. To adjust loosen orange knob and rotate rod slighly until it is level and parallel to the top of the Lensse.
Most important is to make sure that the rod is lined up with the Lensse. Look through the camera mount slot and the rod should be parallel with the slot. To adjust alignment, slightly loosen the (2) set screws that hold the gimbal mount and twist it to align the rod.
(If this is not aligned, balancing can not be accomplished!)
Recap:
1. Check gimbal Ball Joint is Level, Parallel and tightend securely
2. Make sure gimbal rod is Level and Parrallel to Lensee
I will be posting "How to balance variuos cameras" soon...
Lensse Tips:
-----------------
Pre-Setup First!
1. Make SMALL adjustments
2. Be Patient and practise
3. Keep notes for future setups
4. Wider angle lenses are more forgiving
5. Using lighter cameras like GoPro bottom weights are sometimes not required!
