I did phentermine in 2008 :) The way my doctor described it to me was it was basically the step 1 to getting the gastric bypass or lap band :) And yeah 4-6 months is it. And you should take a couple month break and then go back. It's an amphetamine so you have to wean yourself off of it because you can become addicted. And yeah 8 bucks is awesome, I paid 50 for mine every month. It was nuts. But I lost 20 pounds in 3 weeks. :) I had to remember to eat. The first month I took it everyday. The

2. month every other day. Then the third month I weaned myself off into the fourth month. It was weird but it worked so good!! I didn't continue because it was so expensive. But its an awesome little pill hahaha :D YAY for weight loss :D
