  • I can not believe both Mick and Cookie died so young the world has been robbed of their great talent.I do think if Home had some how stayed together they would have been massive. They have given me pleasure for over 30 years and i'm still playing their stuff.

10yrs ago last,he is sadley missed by all that knew him.he was a wonderful person

    and a great musician.

  • paul it is nice to know you are still

listening to home, i also agree they would have been huge band if they had stayed together.if they had released a ifollow up album similar to the home album .

  • yes they did,it is a shame mick did not get to play on the big stage after home.he made some new songs and played around london in different pubs.he alwaysput on a good show.

  • Both your uncle Mick and Laurie done some of the best guitar work in the world with Home.I have told Laurie about this stuff and he was well pleased about it.

  • my uncle was mick stubbs, alas no video of home exists, they were on the old grey whistle test once, but the bbc destroyed the film.

  • any video stuff on home anywhere

  • Amaninasuitcase - that is indeed my good friend Cookie on the drums. What a lovely bloke. Mick Stubbs was a nice bloke as well. The last track on the Alchemist is one of the most beautiful songs. After Stubbsy's funeral I went home and played that track over and over and cried my bloody eyes out. RIP Cookie and Stubbs.
