I have a Toshiba 32 LCD TV that when I turn it on has no sound and a black screen. The power light comes on and is solid. I am unable to get the menu or any button to work. We did have a power outage a few days and it seems that may be the cause. Any suggestions? Should I change the capacitors?
Thanks

Hi. Thanxs the video. First, i need to say my english sucks. But, i need help because in Spanish nothing appears about technical problems.
I have a LG LCD 32 inches, the screen goes black, don't turn off, i tried with the remote control and the parallels buttons and doesn't turn off still. The channels doesn't change. I really need help.
Again, i don't speak english. I tried hard writing this post.
Thanxs, from Colombia.

I appreciate your redo of the capacitor video, but there's a few things you should note to us. When changing the capacitors, say you change 3 out of 6 capacitors, if you decide to up the volts on the 3 that you changed, is it alright to leave the other 3 capacitors that you did not change with the original volt? It seems like you would have 3 capacitors at 1000uf50v and the old capacitors at 1000uf25v, is that okay?

@Measuray yes its totally ok. your 25v capacitors are exactly what the TV needs. adding a 50 wont make any difference, itll just be able to store more. i didnt change all my capacitors either and my TV has been working for a year now after i change the ones that were busted.
