Large record making companies that produce similar music that is very mainstream often try to keep talent such as this hidden or smothered by their current campaign - to sell like mad. This sort of music would likely crush the current chart music and record companies know this, and do not want that to happen.

@ImpSunday I listened to bands like nightwish and only found about xandria in the last year or two. I'm sure there's more "hidden" bands out there that play the same style music.
