This is a tutorial of a few basic edits I apply to my landscape photography. It covers brightness adjustment, sharpening, noise reduction, proper flattening, and artifact removal.

  • I dont know about this HDR stuff, I have seen non hdr images look much better than that.

  • oh. my. gosh. this is so gooodd

  • to much processing... otherwish great tutorial!!

  • You can also dupe the layer again before using the noise reduction tool, and the mask off the trees. That way you'll keep the sharpness in the trees, but still get the rest free from noise. Of course you can do this with any objects! :)

  • thank you very much for this :D

  • Initially, I was unsure what you were going to do, it was already so beautiful, but the post-processing really fine-tuned the image without looking overtly Photoshopped. Thumbs up!

  • great tutorial! thanks for sharing
