"Commercial" for my webcomic, Negative One.
http://negativeone.swankivy.com

This webcomic is drawn in pencil by me once a week and has been updating without fail every single Friday since May 2005. It's told by five rotating narrators in first person, with each protagonist dealing with very special issues. Eventually, the storylines start to cross. . . .

The comic is called "Negative One" because it is essentially a prequel to novels I wrote years ago. Please see my writing page for more information:

All of the voice acting is contributed by creative friends of mine, all of whom read the comic. Here are their credits:

Alicorn as Meri Lin:

Jessie as Adele:

Jeaux as Weaver:

SHO! as Dax:

And, of course, my personal site is swankivy.com .

Please tune in to meet my characters and follow their saga!

  • such fascinating storylines. you are so amazingly talented.

  • Thanks for the compliments. ;)

  • I've read random Negative One issues sporadically for a while now, and realized that that was a really good way to get myself confused. So I've spent the past three days reading the entire series, and now I've caught up. And it's great. :)

  • Yep, sporadic reading of random issues in a complicated, long-running story comic is probably a very, very good way to confuse yourself. Glad you're caught up. :D

  • Interesting. I just discovered your existence. Thank you for enlightening me.

  • Well, I'm glad that whatever I did to deserve your attention, you let me know that I was worth it by commenting (and thanks for the subscribe). I don't know about "enlightening," but you're welcome!

  • its cinde of simular to a anime cinde of thing)) but its actualy interesting

  • I comment , because youre worth it

  • Don't get me wrong, Weaver can be pretty annoying (especially if he tries to sing, gah, godawful), but his voice isn't usually annoying. The guy who did his voice isn't really all that close to what I imagined, but I wanted a guy's voice that sounded like a guy but was on the high side. I didn't have many volunteers who fit that profile, so I asked him to do it. The guy who did Dax reminds me a lot of what he'd really sound like, though.

  • This might sound weird but I initially imagined that Weaver would have a Gilbert Gottfried-type voice. But now as I type this, I realize that would've made him *extremely* annoying for a main character.
