  • This is great stuff. The problem with modern acoustic blues is that even though there are a ton of singers, guitarists and harp players around, where are the hot washboard players?

  • I think the last guy I ever saw playing a washboard was Jim Dandy from Black Oak Arkansas. I see washboards from time to time in antique shops. Maybe I need to buy one and buy some thimbles and bring it back to the mix!
