Thanks, the Gel Coat procedure is not easy. You have to mix your gel coat with the catalyst(MEKP) and acetone into a hopper on your spray gun. I tried the topside paint and also the gel coat with a brush and found that the spray gun application look best. The only down fall is that whaler color matched gel coat cost over $130 a quart, but if you get a 5 gallon bucket as I did on Craigs;off white color and tint it yourself the procedure can be cost effective.
