April 13, 2010. I wanted my scholars to see and hear how they play so, I shot this video of our rehearsal.

This is a video of my guitar students at the Quezon City Performing Arts playing Mr. Rey Valera's "Pangako sa 'Yo" (My Promise to You). I arranged this piece for three Classical Guitars. We started mounting this piece two months ago and today, my scholars were able to play from start to finish. It still needs a lot of polishing.

In this video (from left to right): Geovan Baniel, Arnel Sanchez, Elaine Balleras, Mhaya Cuevas and Junell Cillo.

Pangako sa 'Yo: music and lyrics by Rey Valera

Thank you so much for the kind words. This video was taken during our first time to play the piece from start to finish. The guitar arrangement that I wrote is a bit demanding. Please also accept my deepest gratitude for all the generous kindness that you send my way.
