Permission to Cross Post:
*Dusty* is one of 47 Pit Bulls that were confiscated during drug raids in April '08 and have been at the animal shelter since then. The county is allowing some of them to go to rescues instead of euthanizing them!! These dogs were chained, emaciated, and neglected but NOT used as fighters! These dogs need rescue/foster/adoption commitments ASAP, please!

The Junior Humane Society of Pensacola ( www.jrhumanesociety.com ) is
helping to coordinate rescue as they do not have a shelter but are a
network of foster volunteers.

The a--holes that fight pit bulls are lazy, illiterate scum who have nothing to contribute to the human race. Anyone who attends, bets, facilitates or fights dogs should receive a mandatory 10 year prison sentence. No plea bargains, no appeals, nothing.

Gorgeous, unusual color. How did his story end?

How can people be so cruel! I wish we could adopt, but already have 7 rescues. My mom took in a chained and neglected pitty bull and fell in love with the breed. They make AWESOME, sweet pets.
