Smith Wigglesworth died 12th March 1947 but not before giving a prophecy of 3 moves of the Holy Spirit in the UK leading to revival and world outreach. 2 of these moves can be seen to have happened. The 3rd I share my thoughts about.
During the next few decades there will be two distinct moves of the Holy Spirit across the Church in Great Britain.
The first move will affect every church that is open to receive it and will be characterised by a restoration of the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
The second move of the Holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches.
In the duration of each of these moves, the people who are involved will say 'This is the great revival'. But the Lord says 'No, neither is the great revival but both are steps towards it'.
When the new church phase is on the wane, there will be evidenced in the churches something that has not been seen before: a coming together of those with an emphasis on the Word and those with an emphasis on the Spirit.
When the Word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed the world, has ever seen. It will mark
the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and the Welsh revivals of former years.
The outpouring of God's Spirit will flow over from the UK to the mainland of Europe, and from there will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.
Dream of an elephant - The Church
I was walking in a wood up a slight incline and up ahead on the right was a wood cabin with a wide opening. As I approached I saw an elephant just standing there in front of this hut. As I looked I saw this was a friendly elephant the kind that serves and is used to do tasks. It seemed at first alive and well, but as I continued to look I saw it was not moving. It is as if the whole scene was
unfolding to my vision gradually, but it had been like this all along. I saw that it was facing me and to its left was the shelter, but its left shoulder, leg and big ear were missing. They were in the cabin by themselves. And yet the elephant stood quite straight and upright; the rest of it seemed well and alive. Then it spoke and said ''sores, sores, sores'' in a gentle, friendly, but moanful voice. And I felt this was how it felt and that sores must have grown in the areas apart from each other. It seems as if the elephant had been like this for a long time. Yet, it appeared alive and well in the rest of its body. But it was not moving and not fit for work.

Addendum written 3rd March 2010: In the last 2-3 years the Lord gave me a word of wisdom which I communicated with Gerald Coates: Paul writes to the Corinthians (1 Cor. 4:15) that they do not have "many fathers" - this means we can have more than 1.

Hi Luke,
I wrote to Todd years before he was involved in those things as I discerned things were not right there. He never replied.
I wrote to Benny and he has not replied.
What I am advocating is a church reformation and a working together to be what it should be. As it does so, then the Lord of the harvest will have His ready workers and we will not help but see a revival transformation.
To this end I have written "Revival - The Battleplan" check it out.

@gracetruthguy All I am trying to say is we should be ready for the end and work out our own salvation with fear and trembling and not be expecting a 'big one'. Great if it happens and aslong as we can discern whether it is of God or the enemy thats all that matters. ie Todd bentleys recent 'revival' abomination.

Hi Luke,
Like it or not, that is what happened in Jerusalem at Acts 2. And then other places too.
Now if (and I believe He is) Jesus is not coming back for centuries, then we don't have to look at those falling away as there's always going to be those, but to the harvest Jesus said was there and ready "the fields are white unto harvest" Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send labourers.
And Don't forget that Daniel prophesied that there would be the righteous even at the end!

@gracetruthguy I just dont like the word revival, it doesnt say that there will be mass revivals in the bible. Jesus doesnt say anything about them. On the contrary, it teaches that before the end comes there will be a great falling away from the truth (2 Thes. 2:3) and that the true Church will become weak and have little strength (Rev. 3:8) Sadly, apostasy in the Church is the real sign of the End Times, not revival.

Hi Luke,
Are you not contradicting yourself or misunderstanding me?
You state you agree with revivals aplenty throughout history.
Yet deny another 'big one' being possible.
?
Nowhere do I suggest it will herald Jesus' return or be preceding an imminent return.
In fact my understanding of the bible propheceis indicate to me that Jesus is not yet coming back for sevewral centuries. Check my cvdeos on that.
In that (new ?) context, why would you think there may not be another one?

hi gracetruthguy I do agree with that and I also dont deny that there were movements of the holy spriit in the past and now where people were/are saved. But i am fairy certain that it does not say anywere in the bible about there being a 'great revival' in the last days becuase Jesus actually says the oposite.

Hi Luke,
"that day" is a reference to the 2nd coming of Jesus in 2 Thess.2
And when has anyone sat in the temple of God and blasphemed as Paul mentioned?
Not yet.
If you are a preterist, please name who you reckon to have been the Antichrist.
Yes, any saint can be in error.
And yes, all must be gauged against the Scripture.

Hi Luke,
There will not be unity in a great many families. The church is not in view in that context.
The last days began at Pentecost. Are you suggesting they are over?
Paul indicated when prophecy and the practise of the 'gifts' will cease, when Jesus returns in full as I read 1 Corinthians 13:10
We know Pentecost was not the only time for the 'gifts' as it went on being practised throughout Acts and Paul adovcated them in Corinthians. Revivals aplenty throughout history too.

Smith wigglesworth, I dont deny was a man of faith and I also dont deny the miracles but he was wrong about 'a great end revival'. 2Th 2:3 : Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. Even a man like wigglesworth can be in error thats why we must all use the word of God as a rod for our own backs. I say this in love not becuase I like argueing.

Mattew 10:34: Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. There will not be a unity of the church.
Joel says: And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: Joel is refering to the day of pentecost. The only true revival we needed was jesus and the day of pentecost.
