My wife Maka and some of her bead works. She learned her craft from Eskimo/Athpascan Native's from the great north area of Alaska, in the Brooks Range. We now live in the S. Central area of Alaska, in Homer. Maka's craft has delivered many awesome works and pieces to the public in her 40 years of making beaded works. Her designs, the integrity of her work, and the fact that she uses ONLY glass beads-gem stones-garnets-precious metals, to do her work, makes any and all of her designs very unique. The only repetition in her work is when she is making ear rings. Every thing else she makes is always a one-of-a-kind! Hope you enjoy and please let me know if your interested in any of her works.

  • Maka does beautiful work, awesome looking jewelry... FrAnK (5*****)

  • Hi Frank! Thanks for the beautiful comments! Maka works every single day on her bead works. She is very proud of her works. She is quite a variety when it comes to expression through art mediums. She paints with oil and acrylic, does macramé, beads, leather, music(piano), and is a very prolific writer using analysis and documentary styles as her forte. She is very, very good with styles of poem's also. Thanks and have a great day FrAnK!!!
