Michael from Worms-Germany plays on original tune on the Koyabu - April 2nd 2009 on the Acoustic Stage at the Frankfurter Messe.
The Koyabu is a stereo 2 handed tapping instrument with 2 groups of strings: 6 melody strings tuned in 4th going down (d-a-e-b-dis-cis) & 6 bass strings tuned in 5ths going back up (c-g-d-a-e-b-f#)
The tuning is uncrossed but later in the year there will be an option to have a crossed tuning.
Music & Marketing from Germany are the importers for Europe.
Ron Baggerman from the Dutch company Galaxy Gypsy Productions (based in Gouda) is one of their respresentatives for Northern-Germany-Holland-Belgium-Luxembourgh-UK-France & more European countries.
