Fountain Lake, AR Tornado Aftermath

Atlanta Storm Chasers arrives on the scene of a destructive tornado that had passed through the city of Fountain Lake, AR just minutes earlier.
After realizing that continuing the intercept was impossible, we decided to assist in the search and rescue efforts before EMS and Law enforcement were present.

Unfortunately, there is at least one fatality that we are aware of.
As it turned out, the "kids" that the first lady mentions were NOT present in the destroyed house when the tornado tore through the small town.

the town is called fountain lake and the church is called walnut valley church. we are rebuilding the church and they got the prisoners to help clean up and even the senors of fountain lake high went to go help and their senoir ditch day. they are having church now at fountain lake high school. no one died thatnk god. evryone one was ok. and the building that you all saw in 3:40 is teen chalanged and was completely distroyed. they are still building the church to this day.

the church that got hit was my church i was in that hallway with you guys in front of the 2nd door that is walnut valley baptist church in fountain lake we are now rebulding and are having church at fountain lake high school

Walnut Valley Church is where you all took shelter (this tornado affected the Walnut Valley Community and the town of Fountain Lake). The path of the tornado continued for several miles behind the church along the Surrey Rd area. You're in the bible belt here, so there's a church around every corner...that's probably why there's always one getting hit.

The building you see at about the 3:40 mark that was completely destroyed was on the Teen Challenge campus. The destruction went several miles down that road behind the campus with many homes lost. One 9 month old baby died as a result of a head injury sustained during the tornado, along with several animals (including horses at a riding stable).
