  • If you want to show an Aussie and a Pom what they have in common, stick them in a room of Americans.

  • @n1ck822 England are current world 20/20 champions, were strangely enough,we destroyed Australia in the final. We've also won the last 2 Ashes seris, hammering in your backyard as well, and give the Aussies a beating in the 1-day seris in England in 2010.

You lot are the underdogs to us Poms now. Even 3-1 in the Ashes flattered you.

We love our unique rivalry with the Aussies though.

Make no mistake though mate, Australian cricket is on the rise. Any POM that hasn't noticed the dramatic change in our Aussies over the past few months is not taking their cricket seriously. There has been a momentum shift in Australian cricket, the mongrel factor is back. You are right in what you say, England are the worlds best, but Australia are not the easybeats you met in 2010-11. We are hot on your heels England, and we are coming for you :) Long may this rivalry continue

  • i wish it was like this now, i started getting into cricket right after these guys retired, i never got to witness their great skill. the modern player will never be the same

  • I hope Ponting lassts til England 2013

  • @mcnesta80 lol i liked your answer...but you should of said kraut/swede/french/dane .......my ancestors did'nt mix with foriegners :)

  • @luminoussun at least, with the recent marriage, the royal family now has some British dna. Actually, my dna is probably more British than yours. My family mostly comes from the highlands and western isles. Your people probably arrived in Britain around 400-600 AD. My family's been in oz for more than 200 years, the English moved in around 1500 years ago. In terms of dna, you're as foreign to your land as I am to mine. If u are a celt, I apologise for calling you a kraut hypocrite.

  • @BlueTrueScouse We only nick them if they are any good at cricket. Otherwise they usually take them off us.

  • @LHughesy17 i grew up watching australia winning da cups nd....ya i misss everyone white , glenn, lee,warne,watson,ponting...its lyk their da team
