On side 1, there are two lines sung in the beginning of this song by Mohan Tara - "Mein Jab Chhedoon Prem Taraanaa, Naache Mere Saath Zamaanaa". The rest of the song is in the voice of Rafi Saab, starting with the lines "Mein Jab Gaaun Geet Suhaanaa, Gaaye Mere Saath Zamaanaa". On side 2, the song in the voice of Rafi Saab is repeated completely. However the arrangement and the rendition is somewhat different, indicating that the two recorded versions may have been played at two separate instances in the film.
