I love how the light through the window combined with the light make it look blindingly bright. So Heavenly, almost as if God is looking down on the service!

@preachergirl52 I second that! I wish I was at ACOG when Denise Bell was alive. She really could sing!!!
-
Does anybody have Denise Bell singing the grace of God! if so please post!!!

The office of the Apostle is not closed! There are apostles today and will always be. And if this Church is truly following the Teachings of the Apostles, then why is the five fold not operating! Religion!

I saw the Kenwood Sanctuary when I went to the Joy of Christmas concert this year. See me being from a small town Kenwood was a big thing back when it was built. In my town you will not find a church that big but I mean you can tell that God's is being preached if you can pack out a house like that Sunday after Sunday.

That is the Kenwood Sanctuary. They built the Dorchester Sanctuary and it was completed in 1992. The Dorechester Santuary can accommodate 3000 people.
Yes, ACOG had alot of members, even in the early 80s...

Also, to add to my initial comments, the Apostles were instrumental in the founding of the church as we know it today. And, of course, this is not to take away from Jesus Christ in which the church's foundation is built, the Apostles through the Holy Spirit were instrumental in winning souls to Christ, therefore, founding the church (body of christ).

The name of the church is Apostolic Church of God. And "Apostolic" churches follows the teaching of the Apostles. Although the "Apostle" title or office should be closed, we follow the teachings of all the Apostles. Including the Apostle Paul, who was the Apostle to the Gentiles, in which we are.
Hopefully, this helps.
Be Blessed...:)

Why do they call it the Apostolic church of God?
All the Apostles died off in the 1st century.
Wow they need to build a new church, they're packed in like sardines it looks like 1800-2000 people in there. they were a mega church back in the 80s

My grandmother gave me the cassette tape to this. This was the combined choirs singing for the Easter concert on April 24, 1988.
