So sex is bad, apparently. Sex should be a teens choice. Tech them about how to do it safely, not how "bad" it is.

In a sex crazed worlds, kids are going to want to have sex. No one cares what their teachers say. If kids want to have sex their going to. Its up to the school if they do it safely or not.

Duh, of course abstinence prevents pregnancy... but it's not at all realistic because young people are sexual beings with normal healthy needs. They will have sex whether you like it or not. It's rather unreasonable to expect people to refrain from normal biological urges. Teach effective contraception, not religious prudery.

Our country was based on Judeo-Christian values. That is what has allowed us to be the only country in the world with a self-governing Constitution. Self-governing without morality will not work. I applaud this program for teaching kids how to make better decisions in their lives that will lead them to an optimum quality of living. Don't let anyone tell you that you should accept less.

"i decided to abstain from sex, drugs, and all that bad stuff." The entire world is a product of sex, how can anyone seriously see it as "bad." Abstinence programs are a classic example of hating who you are, and a disgust for ones own thoughts, desires, and body. This my friends has come right out of the bible, why do you think the majority of these Abstinence pushers are Christians.
