One Life To Live epi on 8-20-08 Part 1 of 5

Part 1 Small summary: It's a new day in Llanview, and Tina's making muffins! Sort of. With DV looking on, Tina wipes down a burnt muffin tin as Tess enters from the basement. Tina's curious about all the basement activity, but Tess -- edgy -- tries to play it off. She loses it a minute later, when DV scratches and barks at the basement door, but just then she's annoyed when glowy, totally-in-love Natalie and Jared come in. She makes them feel guilty with some choice words, prompting Jared to sprint over to the Buchanan mansion, where Clint offers him a chance to redeem himself. Could it have something to do with the info Clint's PI dug up on Langston?

Earlier at the Buchanans', Nora lures a glum Cole out to brunch to talk about the c-word: college! Specifically, Llanview U.

Clint's mighty pleased with what Simon the PI has found on Langston. Langston mulls over Delphina's advice that she "was not alone" with Addie, who reassures the girl she's not alone -- she has the Cramers!

John made the cover of The Sun with his new stint as acting commissioner. First thing he does is investigate Ramsey's murder. We all know John could care less about Ramsey; this is just an excuse to learn who's hiding in Todd's house. For some reason, John can't let that go.

After eating a bagel Blair left, John looks through some files and comes across info about Keys (Todd's ex-bodyguard). He calls him in for a grilling: Keys doesn't give much up, but he does confirm that Todd "may be" keeping a woman upstairs. Maybe. Well, that's enough ammo for John to request a search warrant.

Meanwhile, at Todd's, Marty wakes up with Todd beside her. They share some cute morning banter about snoring and are interrupted by Janet the nurse. Todd snaps at her, and it's clear that Marty's the only person who can get.

Todd digs up some info about Starr's OB-GYN and visits her. Looks like he's going to blackmail her in exchange for his grandkid.

Earlier, Blair returns home to La Boulaie, and Starr can't believe she caught her mom on another walk of shame. Addie, Langston, and Starr grill Blair mercilessly until it's time for Starr's doctor appointment. Blair must really like John, because she doesn't look the least bit bothered.

At the doc's, Marcie arrives early. Apparently, Starr asked her to come! Starr recognizes Ashley as a former classmate, and they talk about Starr's decision to give her baby to Marcie.

Turns out Blair has mixed feelings about Marcie adopting her grandchild, so Marcie impulsively asks her to be a part of the baby's life. The kid needs a grandma, so why not its real one? Later, Starr, Blair, and Marcie get all emotional looking at the sonogram monitor. They decide to wait until the baby's born to see if it's a boy or girl.
