Hi, Chris Foss, Question: Where can I purchase one of those clip- on pickups like the one in this video with the alligator type clip. there are others on the web for sale but the clips are quite large and it appears that the one you use here easily accesses the bridge on a hammer dulcimer...? I didn't see them on the songbird dulcimer website.

hello :) i have a couple questions for you if you do not mind. i have been inspired to play the hammered dulcimer; i heard this beautiful song and ever since i have been dying to learn how to play this beautiful instrumentthe hammered dulcimer. i have absolutly no clue where to begin. if there is a certain model type for begginers? or a certain brand you suggest? i have been trying to find music stores that sell them and have gotten no success :( please and thank you!! :)

hey! my little "Phoebe Lucille" (i named her that b/c she's so sassy!) is the first dulcimer i bought from Song of the Wood 4 years ago, and YOUR name is on it! ty so much for "giving birth" to the sweetest little dulcimer in my life! i play her every wednesday for the Poplar Grove Plantation farmer's market. check out my music videos here on youtube; i write and perform my own music just for hammered dulcimer with piano background! this is a GREAT tuning video!
