Battling against the main antagonist in the only Kirby game to debut on the old Nintendo 64 System.
Zero 2 is a reminiscent of the main antagonist Zero from Kirbys Dream Land 3 for the Super Nintendo System. His appearance seems to be based on that of a fallen angel, thus making him one of the most horrific final bosses in the Kirby saga.
Zero 2 can only be battled once you have collected every crystal shard from the six worlds: Pop Star, Rock Star, Aqua Star, Neo Star, Shiver Star, and Ripple Star. Once you have, you will enter the secret Dark Star and face Zero 2.
Battling Zero 2 can be a bit of a challenge for players at first, but can be very straightforward once they have figured out a pattern. When you begin the fight against the notorious boss, you need to aim your attacks at his red eye while avoiding the explosive sparks he fires at you. When you have attacked his eye enough, you will stun him temporarily. While hes stunned fly above him and shoot at the bandage on his head. (Note: The bandage could be based on when Zero's eye busted out of his body during the final battle in Kirby's Dream Land 3, thus giving players the belief that the bandage is supposed to seal the hole his eye made before.) The halo above Zero 2 will also change colours as you attack his bandaged head. When the halo has disappeared, Zero 2 will panic, revealing his weak spot, a large green cactus-like tail. While his tail is exposed, you need to shoot at it as much as you can before Zero 2 recovers. Be careful though, as you are shooting at his tail, the tail will release green blobs that can harm you if you touch them. Once he has recovered, he will go back to his first phase and the pattern for defeating him repeats. Also, while Zero 2 is in his panic phase, you have the option of shooting down his wings. Doing so on both sides will make it easier for you to defeat this boss in numerous ways: Zero 2 can no longer follow you in his first phase so it will be easier for you to shoot his eye and evade his attacks, Zero 2 will take a longer time to recover when stunned and in his panic phase, you will also be able to cause more damage to him when you attack his tail.

The No Tracking option that opens up when you destroy the wings not only lets you have an easier time landing attacks on the eye, but also allowing you to just move straight to the halo without having to stun him. You can also hold the R or L button to rotate Zero 2 Right or Left respectively in a circle infront of you, but that is more for giggles and i guess if you want to make the fight interesting.
