Well yeah it seems very fake. Most shows like this are. But it seems like they'd tell him to fight back to get better ratings or something.

@Lctsforce Excuse me. But nobody is going to tell me I can't defend myself. Would you just lay there and let someone beat on you because your boss says you don't have the right to touch anyone? Let them fire me over defending myself. They'd see themselves getting sued over it too.
