  • @richardcadbury You realize America is the only Industrialized nation without universal healthcare right? And on top of that the most sickening fact about the American "healthcare" system is that insurance companies can drop people. Essentially forcing people into bankruptcy. What if this happened to you? Then all of a sudden a Nation ran insurance company where you can't be dropped sounds awesome. I'm absolutely appalled at the people who know nothing about this and yet knock it

  • @MrWundrful You'll care at some point. Needing a doctor is not a question of "if." It's a question of "when."

  • @Anon1352 America needs to return to it's founding principles, and if we do then the world will be prosperous and free once more..

  • @MrWundrful Your head hits the window, major wiplash strains your neck and spine, the window breaks and you get pieces of glass in your eyes or ear. Your brain is bleeding. If you had insurance, you would be able to get this taken care of. But you don't. Your parents watch as their beloved child bleeds to death. Healthcare is totally a privilege.

  • @MrWundrful So, you and your super-healthy, never-get-sick family goes on a pleasant drive to visit some family. Someone is drunk. Driving fast. Didn't see, or blatantly ignored, the red light on their side of the road. Your super-healthy, never-get-sick family is t-boned by a car going 70-100 mph. Your body is thrown against your seatbelt, which stops you from being ejected from the car, but your internal organs, you know, heart, brain, intestines, don't stop because of the seatbelt

  • @MrWundrful "just because you have the hiccups doe NOT mean I need a doctor." You are right it does not mean you need a Dr but if they lasts more than a day it might mean a number of things some of which can be serious. Not to have health cover no matter what system your Nation users is a very silly thing to do. I'll guarantee one day you or someone in your family will need medical help then it will not matter to you if it's a "right" or a "privilege" you will beg, steal or borrow to get it

  • Quite frankly healthcare is not a right it is a privilege if you can afford it good for you, if you are like my family and simply don't care, you learn to deal without healthcare. All this healthcare will do is force my family to pay for something that we rarely use. It is like making us get workout equipment it is awesome for a while then you lose interest and realize just because you have the hiccups doe NOT mean I need a doctor.

  • @KwellingtonK The answer to your question can be found in the power of the middlemen who make a fortune out of medicine but do not supply so much as an Aspirin. Your medical insurance companies control not just the information about healthcare but has the power to corrupt your political system. They are reaping an immense income out of the fear of being sick using part of that income to protect themselves. Break the insurance companies cartel you will get your cheap access to health.

  • @KwellingtonK I think you are far too pessimistic about America. Yes, you do have some lunatics possibly more than most but that is more the result of your media being controlled, for the most part, by self-serving media moguls. Most Americans even on the right can understand the dangers of political and economic extremism no matter where it comes from. Don't forget Europe as had to learn this the hard way but we still have our extremists and nutters.

  • @davijeph I'm enjoying this dialogue. I should inform you I've for many years been in favor of UHC. I'm glad to be hammering out my new concerns with a smart and compassionate youtuber as yourself. I agree food, environment, education and health are human rights and needs. I honestly wish sometimes I lived in a European socialist democracy. America can't seem to get its socialized medical systems to work in an affordable way. Why do you think that is? poor organization or lack of funds
