Fully equipped they cost as much as a base M3. If you can afford that, might as well go for the M. Otherwise the base 335i is a fantastic car and tunable. Just my $.02.

I would seriously buy this car but considering that I have a 335xi, I would rather get a used m3 or a stripped new m3 like others are saying cause bmw's pricing on packages are a little ridiculous.

@jetworkerc90 you can get used 08 m3 for under 50K man....And considering how these cars are reliable and M3's notorious resale value, I'd rather pick up an m3.
