Here I show you in detail how to cook them right. "Take a look before you cook" I knew there in not another recipe better than this one because I have had them all. This is a recipe that most would not share "family recipe" handed down from Big Red to me. This is how they were prepared by my late Grandmother, also this is a meal that my mother will eat and has to use her fingers to get in those tight places. Please try this and let me know that you have, if you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to ask. Enjoy.

  • @tebuny1 Two words -Pressure Cooker !! use onion, garlic, pepper and salt for simplicity.

You add the spices you like and it will make the meat fall off the bone. Also, the key here is that the meat has to be tender, flavor will come if you cook them by themselves. Thanks for stopping by...

  • @emoneyblue lollol okay. I want to find that point where I can cook it in a really healthy way but where it'll taste really good too, juicy and all that stuff. I also need to narrow down my seasoning preference. Like curry for example- so many types! which one tastes better? Lion? Mountain? so many brands! did u have this problem in the beginning or do you just grab whichever in the store? that could work too i guess

  • @MohammadDanielPrince Thanks I laid those glass tiles myself...

  • @tebuny1 Yes you can do that too but healthy Ox tails I don't think so, due to the heavy fat content. But all is not lost, you can only eat a small one and have brown rice and a salad... BINGO!

  • that looks good but it also looks really heavy. I went to this restaurant that sells soul food, and their ox tails made me feel like the food was sitting on my chest! that's how heavy it was. would this have the same effect on u? How can you cook this in a healthy way? I have a habit of boiling it first, leaving it over night and wait for the fat to thicken at the top, then i pour that out and boil it again or just bake it afterwards...
