Here is a short video I created in memory of Bob Keeshan. Hello friends, I enjoy taking a stroll down memory lane. I enjoy remembering the times when life was so much simpler. I remember watching the Captain every morning while eating Corn flakes before going off to school. So much innocence is lost in our children today from everything they see and hear in todays world. Its wonderful to reminisce and remember those simple childhood memories. Please feel free to share your childhood memories.

Side note to my previous post. Mr. Fred Rodgers was a NAVY SEAL!!!! He had 9 confirmed kills AND was a master of small arms as well as hand to hand. He became a minister. Imagine that!!! Great video and a REAL tribute to Bob R.I.P. with Mr. Moose and Mr. GreenJeans.
He was a Marine who stormed Iwo JIma with Lee Marvin during WW ll and I believe he won the CMH(Congressional Medal of Honor) and I believe he is buried in Arlington National Cemetary. Look up Lee Marvin on the Tonight Show with J.Carson.

I adored Captain kangaroo as a child. And I always laughed at the rabbit with his carrots, and the Mr. Moose would always pelt the captain with ping pong balls! Thanks so much for posting this!!
Loved Captain Kangaroo as a kid! I was a 70s/80s kid. Saw so many of the "new" in the 80's shows, and was lucky to be able to see the "old" 50s 60s ones also! Very nice tribute to Bob and his crew! Childrens television was so innocent then.
