also i add seasol half a cap every 3 weeks at moment, my system holds approx 400 ltrs of water and 4 grow beds 1 half hearted bio filter. i think the grow bed volume has to be equal to the fish tank volume, so i should be able to double my grow beds and increase the fish with not too much Eco dramas.

i add small amounts of hydrochloric acid over time to bring mine down and constantly checking ph. mine is out doors and a bit bigger system which i think helps it to be stable. if your house or tank water is a lower ph than the fish tank, I would do a 1/3 water change. mine is 6mnths old and and they say it takes time for system to balance. i,m just learning the process, how to run it, what changes happen when plants are pulled and to keep the rotation of plants as even as possible. goodluck.

@lifekreator i just started mines in october.... im freaking out because it is quickly getting alot colder. worst time to grow things. i recorded my stuff today... my tomato and catfish grew alot... i think i need more fish...
i will do the water change and use that water for my other plants. i need to lower the ph some how... i heard peat moss can lower the ph naturally.
