Submixes are used to control, process and manipulate entire groups of instruments such as drums, strings, or backup vocals, in order to streamline and simplify the mixing process. Each submix usually has its own inserts, sends and returns, and can be processed independently through its own signal processing chain to achieve a different effect for each group of instruments. In this tutorial we've loaded a Logic Pro template song from Beatelite.com to demonstrate how to create and use a drum submix to enhance and add more punch to your drum kits.
