tygers.. when she first got the surgery and announced dramatically ' I can't have sugar. I get sick, literally, sick' I remember saying 'that doesn't stop an addict.. they will do it even if it makes them sick and rips up their stomach and worse'

My mother used to say in the 80's that she would wire her mouth shut if she were fat.. yeah, what an idiot! my mother should have wired her mouth shut to keep from saying hurtful things!
How about.. u dont buy any crappy junk food at the store! Try starting there.. yeah, the food calls to you, it grinds away at you and propels you to purchase, it makes your mouth itch.. some addicts and alcoholics have to sit on their hands to keep from their addiction. If thats what it takes.

I think the fact that her results haven't been perfect with the gastric bypass (due to her OWN personal issues, not because the surgery didn't work... it DID), makes her a great role model for the surgery. It shows people, "This Is Not A Cure-All." Carnie had to have the surgery because her life was in jeopardy, but it didn't make those deep-seated issues go away, as we can see. She still struggles w/the weight, and had a drinking problem for a while. But she's great best of luck to her.

Let's check in with the host of this show to see how SHE is doing on her efforts to stop looking so bony and weight gain goals.. how come we never hear that??
