What is love, to Dan?

For me, I find it important to be:
kind to everyone, everything,
including one's self...
no matter what...
without reservation.

I'm still far from perfect,
but I'm not going to give up.

Love is about awareness.

Please know this:
it is okay to love.......!

We are all innocent children.
We were born innocent.

...forgive them, for they know not what they do. ~ Jesus said this, while on the cross...

So...forgiveness is key.
Learn to love yourself.
Always forgive everyone...
for everything!

Have the courage to deal with whatever comes up...
even if it is anger.

I don't mean to be rude or insult or anything bad. I've watched a lot of people on,TV preaching about love and how we should love everything, everyone, etc. I even know one such person and I ... love her, of course:) But, I've always wanted to ask, if love is so infinite, if you are able to love EvErYthing, will you be able to respond with love to someone who hurt a loved one of yours? To remain with that pure love towards them that you have in your heart towards the sun,life itself?

People have been hurt and now they hurt others. If you track back you see the only reason they hurt others is because they themselves have been abused. Love is the only thing that stops us from an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth or else the whole world would be blind and toothless! If you hold back from loving other because they have hurt you or someone you love you only hurt yourself. Let love flow through you and live life to the fullest. It is not easy but forgiveness is true freedom!
