YouTube for Schools lets schools access free educational YouTube videos while limiting access to other YouTube content. Students can learn from more than 400,000 educational videos, from well-known organizations like Stanford, PBS and TED, and from up-and-coming YouTube partners with millions of views, like Khan Academy, Steve Spangler Science and numberphile. Schools can also customize their YouTube for Schools experience, adding videos that are only viewable within their school network.

  • @b68144 The was created by a Seattle musical group called Our Favorite Year. You can find them at myspace.com/ourfavoriteyear.

  • @tobii237 The graphics were designed in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and everything was animated together with Adobe After Effects. Hope you enjoyed!

  • in Spanish...please

  • I was at a school where the IT administrators put Youtube on the list of banned sites. The educators claimed that a short video of a food fight in the cafeteria was being watched by students in school, so they blocked all of Youtube, a typical knee-jerk reaction that resulted in the loss of the educational media here. The students who had their own Internet on their phones, of course, could continue watching copies of the "disruptive" video, while video presentations were stupidly disallowed.
