  • @uthund I live in south wales and there are still many quaker meeting houses and buildings in my area even to this day.

  • The perceptivley meek and mild pacifist Quakers were responsible for nearly wiping out the worlds Whale population. Their Whaling fleet operated from Nantucket and then from Milford Haven. It's time they officially apologised to the world for these barbaric acts.

  • One of the reasons the Quakers ceased to be prominent is that they were induced to migrate to Milford Haven, Wales, UK in order to dodge the whale-oil tax if they were selling to Uk. This happened between 1793 and 1810 I believe. Still some Nantucket born whaler folks grave stones at the Q Burial Ground in Milford. One name very prominent is Starbuck!!!
