This is what the liberal and conservative corporate media has been keeping away from you. The first and only NY gubernatorial debate was held LIVE online and on News12 at the same exact time as the Yankee game. Most New Yorkers did not get a chance to see the debate nor do they know how to find it online. All corporate News coverage after the debate was focused on McMillan's mantra "The rent is too damn high" in an effort to keep the other candidates hidden from your family and tell you the real story of the debate - Barron crushed Cuomo and Paladino hard.

If you have not seen the debate yet, you can see it at NY1.com.

The following is my personal rundown on all the 7 candidates. In my opinion, Charles Barron truly represented New York more than the rest on this stage.

Cuomo and Paladino are exactly the same on all points and when they say "cut out the waste" or "cutting down" anything, they mean your jobs, your pay, your pension, your union, your social programs, and everything that your family and friends enjoy - not big business or their grip on our politicians.

McMillan and Davis agree with Cuomo and Paladino on Property Tax, Charter Schools and even the MTA - which is why the corporate media shined the light on them, especially McMillan, as Davis didn't act the part too well. They don't want you to see how ruthlessly and bad Cuomo and Paladino got humiliated on stage [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fs27Z7gUPJ4 ].

Redlich had great points on Cuomo's and Paladino's corruption but his proposal to privatize the MTA scared me. He's more like a republican at their best behavior, which is still no good in my book. But he gets a smiley sticker for standing up to the 2 party system.

Hawkins was right on almost everything he spoke about. But unfortunately you have to be a college graduate to understand what he is trying to say. I understood him, but I suspect the issues he brought up, New Yorkers who watch corporate news wont know about - as corporate news censors almost everything that happens in this state, besides local crimes. I still think he's great guy and would love to meet him one day. But I think Barron is more relevant and more present in the front lines of impoverished neighborhoods all over New York. I also believe Barron represents a wider audience, from unions and students to battered women seeking shelter. Hawkins should join the Freedom Party.

Charles Barron is representing the most destitute and poorest communities in New York state. In my opinion those are the New Yorkers who understand exactly what is wrong with the system more than any other populace in the state. If they get represented, WE ALL DO. And he tells you exactly how to do it.

The Freedom Party is also the first Black and Latino lead political party in the history of the United States of America. So it is no wonder why it is difficult to find this debate. Charles Barron chewed up Cuomo and Paladino and spit them out! What multi-millionaire executive running a network is going to want to admit to this? NONE. This is very real. The fact that all corporate networks went to extremes to keep this from you by airing it during the Yankee game and making sure all post coverage talked about McMillan's mantra (that even Cuomo said he supported, no one can disagree with the rent being too high) and never talked about the actual debate, tells us all, how extremely vital and dangerous your vote is to the big business interests which dominates every aspect of our lives.

This video is a compilation of all the questions asked during the debate and all of the answers from Charles Barron.

FREEDOM PARTY!!!!!

  • What a shameless race baiter.

How did this ass clown ever get elected?

Oh...yeah, right....his district is all black.

Negroes will elect any trash as long as it's black.

  • This prick is a hate monger who has his own agenda. I"d like to see him deported to Somalia or somewhere else out there.

  • Barron is a disgusting man. I support black rights but Barron milks it for his own gain.

  • what is the definition of racism ?

  • Oh yeah, and black people CAN be racists by the way. Such racism is often downplayed or ignored because, historically, blacks have been the victims of racism and not the perpetrators.

  • I would have voted for Mr. Barron had he not been such a racist douche. (Read: former Black Panther who cares only about black and Latino people, and once referred to Irish people as "white negroes.") Just about everything else he said was excellent.

  • @PirateEyepatch listen schmuck I know more about socialism and political theory than you could possibly ever learn in your sorry-ass excuse of human existence big man. You're the very essence of what is wrong with socialism dear eye-patched big mouth.

  • @zombietune Nothing wrong with socialism dipshit.

  • What about the Italian American catholic community that was ethnically cleansed from large areas of Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx. Address this Mr. Barron.

  • Charles Barron has once more demonstrated that he is nothing more than a socialist, resentful individual that see issues through the lens of race and class warfare.
