Observation: baby with wet sponge -10 min total

Oh... The Wonder...
-A warm day in California. This little boy (8mo) stayed interested in the sponge for 10 minutes total before he dropped it and crawled off. He was soooo cute! He had watched me work with another child (older) with a sponge squeezing job. I had noticed he was quietly paying attention too. So I gave him the bowl and sponge to see what he would do. I wish I had his initial response on video.
He was so thrilled, he threw his hands out to the sides involuntarily shaking with excitement while breathing in a big breath for about 4 seconds before he actually picked up the sponge. Priceless.

This is a good one too!
Now I know how useful a baby size table and child are.
The baby can crawl in and out!
I got child size table and chair which is good for toddler not baby.

Thanks. It is nice to know others are getting something out of this. I too have table and chairs for tots and had to get this one from IKEA and have the legs cut down to fit.

Montessori has taught me to really just step back and enjoy the children while observing them. This has been so helpful and less frustrating. just pause.....lol
