  • I test drove one of those 335d's recently and it's impressive and sounds great but I will say I think it's a bit overpriced at 45K.

  • and the sales figures have proven my point. it's been about 10 months since it was introduced, and only about 1.1% of all bmws sold were the 335d in america.

    if it had been the 320d i bet the number would have been a lot higher.

  • bmw was stupid to bring this car to america as the first diesel engine. they should have started off with the 320d because that car gets about 50 mpg, goes to 0-60 in less than 8 seconds, and would cost less than the base 328i.

    if they had brought the 320d over, it would have been a smashing success.

    but at $45,000 nobody really cares about saving money, and when you're talking about a sports sedan, the 335 gasoline is as good as they come.

    so bmw, bring the 320d here!!!

  • I think 45K for any 3 series that is not completely optioned out is too much. I think a more accurate price for this car should be about 37K.
