MW3 for the Blind - MW3 for the Color Vision Deficient

This is a new series I am going to do to bring you news on Modern Warfare 3.

Color blindness is a common problem, especially among dudes. Sledgehammer Games tells us that roughly 9 to 12 percent of males are afflicted, a fact the studio has educated itself on since many of those males also like to get their Call of Duty on. In recognition of this, the Modern Warfare 3 co-developer has confirmed that the November-releasing entry in the series will include a Color Blind Assist option.

Sledgehammer revealed the news on its blog, though no details are offered on exactly how it will work in practical terms. Turning on the assist mode will likely result in a palette swap, switching to colors that are more easily distinguished by afflicted gamers.

Of course, color blindness doesn't matter much once you've reached hour 10 of an online multiplayer marathon; it all just bleeds together by that point. Modern Warfare 3 hits stores on November 8.

"Not really surprised that they did this, Black Ops has this option." -HHSbass4 I didn't even know they did so if you have been playing Black Ops and you are having problems seeing certain colors look for the color swap options.

@j0a0c0rreia color blind assist lets you see enemy stealth bombers on the mini map(unless your playing on wii. where it doesn't)
