America's early space programs was a major interest of my childhood and youth. This is my adult tribute to it and a memorial to those who have passed since it ended.

  • I am not one to publicly tout my own work, but every time I watch this, I still get choked up a little. One thing I never mentioned about this concerns the last time I updated it. Walter Schirra, as it happened passed away May 3, 2007, one day after the death of my own father. I waited until after dad's burial to change the video, so it was kind of a double whammy with the emotion of that and the sadness of Mr. Schirra.

  • how do you make all of that zoom in and out

  • I have a feature on my computer called 'Windows Movie Maker' which is where I made the slideshow. It allows for various effects to be used. The zoom you see is ease in, ease out effect. I just clicked what I wanted and dragged over a selected picture. As you can set the length of time you wanted the picture displayed, that zoom will run for that amount of time.

  • Heh. After seeing this. I realised that mines isn't actually all that good. Or it pales in comparison to your vid. :)

    5/5!

  • Thank You. That's very kind of you.
