I went all the way arround Iowa to see this, and i knew about it the minute it started because I have some friends in Iowa, but I'm so angry that no one else knows abiut it and should be donating to causes! It makes me so angry!

Well, I don't think anybody expected it "to never flood." The question is what is "normal" or "acceptable" flooding. Nothing of this magnitude had ever happened since the building of the Dam upstream and nobody thought it would. We were wrong.

Thanks for showing Normandy. I believe I live right next door to you and I have been looking in the news footage for Normandy but the only residential area I have seen is Idyllwild. Thanks also to ZaoPunk.
