This video comprises a hearty chunk of the show in four parts, however, "Mr. Spaceman" is cut off at the end of part 4, and "Hold it" is not included. :-(
@reborn5310 Parsons is an okay banjo player, equally okay on other stringed insts, but obnoxious as hell as a drummer. He rarely goes two bars without some bombastic fills. I prefer his work in the machine shop to his onstage work. Anything with Clarence is alright with me, tho...
Quite right. Parsons is also very skilled on guitar, pedal steel, and harp, as well as being co-inventor (with Clarence White) of the famous B-Bender guitar. He is also a fine vocalist and composer.
God bless Clarence. I named my cat after him....

Yeah Gene Parsons is a great drummer. And yes he is a great banjo player as well. He's a master of both trades.

Gene Parsons started as a bluegrass player, and only took up the drums to get into playing rock music in the later 60's.

I'm really surprised how good the drummer is at banjo.
