  • As far as pitchers go I would have several choices. However the best would have to include Seaver,Gooden, Pedro,Ryan(I know he didn't reach stardom with mets but still) Kooosman or Santana, possibly Cone, and Matlack too. Best relievers would include Mcgraw, Orosco,Wagner,Franco(though in a big spot I would take Orosco)Also Randy Myers though he didn't reach Stardom with mets, but had Wagners ability. Best managers would include Hodges, and Johnson. Best ph Staub.

  • At catcher I have no problem choosing Piazza because he was the best, most exciting hitter in Mets history. If you chose Gary Carter that would be fine too. Gary was better defensively by far with an excellent bat as well. A great handler of pitchers, and leader too. Left field I would choose Cleon Jones even though I didn't see him play as I was too young. If I had to choose a player who I saw play, and picked one on skills though he didnt play long with mets. My choice would be K. Mcreynolds

  • I would take Howard Johnson or Robin Ventura over David Wright. I probably would choose Howard Johnson as my final pick at third. After Darryl Strawberry Howard was the most feared power hitter on the mets. Howard was a 30 30 man. He had excellent speed, as he can steal many bases. David I think was better defensively, though Howard was better all around in general. I know David's average is higher, but Howard's bat was deadly. I mean deadly closer to Piazza's bat. After Howard ,I like Ventura.

  • Bobbie Murcer?? Dont you mean Bob Murphy?

  • Best First Baseman in Mets history? John Olerud. Check out the stats. Not even close!

  • No Pedro ?? Wagner is horrible.... thank god we have K-Rod

  • Good eccept i think the best 1b is delgado

    nice overall
