  • how much area do they cover and how dark does it have to be?

  • Obviously pitch black is best, but it shows up fairly well in a curtained room during the daytime.

Area is determined by how far away you have the machine. At a distance of perhaps 1.5 metres, the area might be approx. 3m x 3m on the ceiling.

  • @GavMan86 do you think one laserpod could smoothly project onto a 20ft by 20ft room?

  • @farfromfamiliar Depends entirely on how high the ceiling is. You'll get some stray lights and a bit of LED action out towards the edges, but at a guess I'd say that in a room where you can touch the ceiling, the lasers will be focussed on a 10 ft by 10 ft area.
