I have to honestly say, being an American, Daleks have to be one of the coolest villains of any TV series or movie I have ever seen. It is not so much how they are designed, as how they respond to their enemies. I love their verbal responses, as they are quite witty, as well as the way they can take on millions with only a few Daleks. American film makers and TV show creators could take a lesson just from the Daleks alone.

I don't know why, but the act of a Dalek laughing is so unnatural that I get chills and laugh myself. That's what I felt about crazy Dalek Caan.
