Like it or not....Football is a big freaking deal in American. I know not all of you are Americans, so this isn't going to be geographically fair. Also...a lot of you are nerds, like me, so you probably don't know a lot of football trivia. But getting ready for the Superbowl tomorrow, it'd probably be good to have a few fascinating facts in your back pocket...so I hope you enjoy this truth or fail.

  • All you English people saying how you think about soccer when Hank says football, you should try being Australian, here football mean AFL.

  • WHO DAT??!!

  • Is it a problem if I'm a nerdfighter and love football?

  • I'm going to play because...well, it's Hank.

I'm going to fail because I hate watching sports...I'd rather be playing - watching makes me feel lazy (and jealous that people get paid so much to run amok when I do that on a daily basis for free) XD

  • @jelbertie Don't worry, I'm American, and I still think they mean English football ("soccer" here) as well XD

That's what happens when you grow up watching British TV, I s'pose.

  • Whenever Americans say footbal, it still takes me about a minute to get that they are talking about something different than English football :S

  • @LebnulKirec I'm pretty sure football isn't big in any kind of language anywhere. I mean, it has only got 8 letters. I mean, in french it is "football de americanne" but I mean there are definetly longer phrases. In general, geographically America celebrates football very much and in most other countries football is soccer, so technically, though football is a big deal in many other geographical locations, it isn't what he was talking about. Geographically, I just felt like telling you off.

  • + if you paused the video and googled it

  • @huamei65 Loliknowright?

  • Hank, I'm dropping in to check the average point spread of the Super Bowl, but for the record, you said that, "Football is a big freaking deal in American," implying that 1. American is a language, which it isn't, it's a dialect, and 2. Football isn't a big deal in other languages... which it is. You know this... or at least your brother does. I just felt like pointing that out, and I know it wasn't intentional, and I love you (in a platonic way), and I was just feeling like telling someone off.
