i used to have my ps3 on all night now i know not to have it on fore a long period of time

@SUP3RficialH3R0 i know the hard drive part and how hard is it to get it out and put it back together and i know thats what i wanna get out of my old system and move it to the new system and my game is still in there i was playing b4 the system broke get that too and kool and i know theres about of videos about it is the hard drive good and same thing for the slim model and check out my gaming videos sometime :)

hello SUP3RficialH3R0 i had my ps3 the original system since it first came out it died its not working no power and i worked too hard on my games to start over so im finding out if i can move the memory brain to a new ps3 old or new slim system witch is the memory brain so i can work on that

@TheMillionare16 search for a vid on how to remove the harddrive (thats where all your games are) from your old dead system...there are a ton on youtube...just type removing ps3 harddrive into the search...

I got stuck at the part where u take the side off. The part with the power switch that comes out with it? Ya I can't take it off. You said there wasn't any screws to take out. You just show you popping it off as if it's easy. I can't seem to pop it off. Please help!!

@x17jake17x ok, my memory is a bit hazy but if I remember correctly, it popped out, like the sides were in grooves so to speak and if you bend it ever so gently on each side I think (!) it just pops out. do this REALLY gently though in case Im wrong. If I am I am sorry I dont remember...

What type of tool do you need to get the first screw out that shut pissed me off so I sat it down ad went to bed lolz .

@dandfriends I used a flathead screwdriver....a smaller one of course. and I had to press and turn REALLY hard in order to get it out...
